2-3 Tbsp canned chopped green chiles

Ingredients

  • Let cream cheese soften at room temperature
  • Grate the American cheese or put it through a food chopper. Combine cheeses and green chile and mix well. Chill until firm enough to be handled.
  • Form chile-cheese mixture into a log shape.
  • Coat log thoroughly with chopped pecans. Chill 4-6 hours. Slice and serve with round crackers.

  • 1 package (8 oz.) cream cheese
  • ½ pound American cheese, grated
  • 2-3 tablespoons canned chopped green chiles
  • ¾ cup finely chopped pecans
